What the work included
- Translated strategic ambitions into an information roadmap the board can commit to and the operation can actually execute against.
- Mapped where data lives, who owns it and how it moves — replacing tribal knowledge with documented flows, clear stewardship and defensible controls.
- Aligned internal practice with the direction the Dutch health-data ecosystem is taking, so integrations and data products aren't reinvented later.
- Prepared the organisation for the European Health Data Space (EHDS) and interactions with the Health Data Access Body (HADB) — consent, purpose-binding, secondary use and the paper trail behind them.
- Left behind an administration that survives auditors, staff turnover and the next reorganisation without needing another rescue mission.
